Getting to know and using adjectives and their opposites. With the picture stories, the children learn how to describe things and activities precisely with adjectives. You will practice declining adjectives, the semantically correct use of important pairs of opposites, for example sad - happy, fat - thin, fast - slow, light - dark, short - long, and the correct use of adjectives in different forms: the long way - a long one way - the way is long. Each of the 18 stories consists of four cards, each dealing with an adjective from everyday language use. Each story deals with two pairs of opposites, such as the old and the new bicycle or the full and the empty laundry basket. With the stories, 70 adjectives and thus 35 pairs of opposites from the basic vocabulary can be practiced in a targeted manner. At the heart of each card is a goal phrase that includes a specific adjective. Since each story contains two pairs of opposites, it is also possible to compare two cards in each case in order to work out the adjectives you are looking for. When telling and describing, the children find more details on each picture card, which they can also describe using adjectives.
